Our Farm
|
Being in the South Downs National Park, the farm is here for the public to enjoy. We love the Meon Valley and the wildlife in it. Our Lambs otherwise known as 'Nature's Lawnmowers' play a very important part in shaping the landscape of the valley. We were recognized by the Telegraph and RSPB 'Farming for Nature' award in 2013 where we came runner up in a national competition.
We have farmed here as a family since 1906 and have had a flock of sheep since then. Over the years we have seen many changes, but fundamentally sheep farming the South Downs is a very traditional form of farming.
